Oooh, I really like the background on this one! Nice perspective, and I like the grungy feel to it. Heh-heh...Kunimarn looks so cool in casual wear, but certainly not as kick-ass as in his usual clothes. These clothes make him say: "I'm ready to go", and the pic only adds to this. You shall have to finish it soon!

Good texture on this one- i really thought Kunimarn was pink and soft until now! XD I wanna know what his sunken cheeks feel like now! Are they like the gills of a shark, or soft but flaky like a zombie? and the street looks quite excellent too. where is he? Chinatown? Ghostville? o.O

I had a lot of frustration with the bastard (background)!!! Jeebuz creeps! !! Yeah man, his eye(s) is sparkling greenish yellow - it glows in the dark (makes him capable to see in the dark - oooh night vision!).

Believe me, I had a lot of hassle with perspective!
However my intention for the background is to achieve the dark and the not so friendly atmosphere. I mean the color plays a lot of part in the artwork as well - such like we see in the picture we understand this is NOT the friendly and bright. We get the intense and grasp the danger/menacing moment (....sort of).
The character himself is not the good guy (...I prefer him as anti-hero = but a bit more of villain side). I still need to design/illustrate his former outfits and the one that he wears (the default outfit).
He comes with 3-4 or 5 different formal outfits - I believe... I'm on the roll with him. Loving the way he wears new clothes, it makes him look..more interesting and not just wear same clothes everytime you see him! Easy said, I want to have a character that almost resembles the real life... damn....I don't know how to say in English. I love my characters so much that I want them to "become" human for a change and treat them as if they existed! I really have no life - seriously.
He wears pink!?!?!?!? THIS IS MADNESS!
Believe me, he doesn't wear it! He's not even the softy kind of type - in fact I don't think he likes being soft (if he’d ever be one, then it’ll be very rarely!). The sunken cheeks are actually a gill-like but it looks pretty much more of an exposed skin/muscle. The other benefit for it is; it allows him to open his mouth more wider than usual - you know like when a snake is digesting its prey, its mouth has to stretch wider to get engulfed the prey’s head/body. Except for Kunimarn he doesn’t eat humans (but he bites – if he has no other option that is). However, it is very soft, smooth and warm to touch (you can get carried away )
Even though he’s not human and the skin type and muscle is very different from us humans, he can still be injured by all mean you can stab him but he can never truly die).
Most vulnerable place is the third eye of his which locates at his forehead . For not to make write a lot, I’ve minimize it so the rest of the info will be on the note.
The street is definitely NOT Ghostville – because Ghostville isn’t filled with rubbish on the ground and graffiti on the wall and also besides Kunimarn will not even want to go to the ghost town – not when he’s under control of the Government or the “rimates” as he calls them – because to him humans are both seen as manipulative and easy target. Obviously he understands how the human works when they get threatened - humans and their toys (gun).
