Description

T.K.:"Mom I'm taking 'Draco' out for a walk in the park."
Mother: "Alright honey. But please come back before 5pm. Because we're going to have dinner with our neighbor..."
T.K.: "D8< Fuck no!!"

This bastard took me like a week and 4 days to finish it! I started on Nov 19th 2008 and finished completely with the small details on today!!!! :icongwahplz:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

((By the way this version is being reversed. Click here for original version: [link]))

I swear this isn't supposed to look like this. It was meant to have one dragon that is flying the kite and the rest is different weird creatures (like the one you see in Star Wars).

It will be a long list for me to give all the details...but since I am so damn cruel little bitch, I'll torture you.

First off.

1. The first dragon to be drawn is the one that is flying the kite = Nov 19th. Finished in one day. Not ref. used. His head I came up with is an arrow-like. ¬_¬... How original. :iconnotimpressedplz: He's one of the good guy dragon. His eyes is closed. Basically he's a psychic...Open his eyes only when he's enraged.

2. The majestic dragon (the one that is holding a filthy little annoying human with his (yes. It's a male and it'll stay that way) tail. = Nov 20th. Finish in...goddamn 2-3 days because he has lots of small details, making me go loco!! :icongwahplz:. He's name is "Draco" (it's just a temporary name). In case you haven't noticed. He is not good dragon either bad. Just neutral. :iconhappylarryplz:

Using reference only on the tail and the way he is sitting (mind you, I had hard time and hassle on finding a good picture of a dragon sits like front view and not side-view. A lot of research on DA and even Google showing only dragons with only side-view/profile.
Doesn't people in these days draw dragons that is NOT in side-view anymore??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However I managed to get it done. And don't care if it is wrong! At least I tried.
Majestic dragon of mine belongs to the side of neutral.

3. The skeleton dragon. This dashingly hissing foul <strike>beast</strike> dragon is BAAAAAAAAAAD! I am creating more of this dragon to get to see how tall he really is. But I can assure you, he's huge. Anyway... This skeleton dragon (has got no name yet) is hissing against my majestic dragon because he is "attacking" his owner. Hey! He started the bullying!! So "Draco" teaches the bastard a lesson!! This dragon is damn hard and frustruating! I had to do heap lots of research on how to draw skeleton!!!! Dragon skeleton is really hard to find. So I looked up the closest creature to dragons and that is dinosaur.

While the head is actually references from crocodiles and alligators and mixture with a domestic goat skull. Mind you, when you see the more of this dragon, I made him look like a possessed flying horse-thing :iconnotimpressedplz:. = Started on Nov 23rd and took me about 2-3 to finish the whole process. The sketch itself too me about 15-20 min due to research.
Bad to the bone. He belongs to the baddies

4. The dragon that is holding a human with his hand/claw. Also had trouble to find a dragon that sits properly. So I had to Google up. And now I can't find the picture with a dinosaur that sits ¬_¬....
Started on Nov 23rd (same time with the Skeleton Dragon). Finish before the Skeleton Dragon because this dragon is not too hard to draw. Simple. This dragon gives wisdom and advice to the owner who treats him with respect.
This dragon belongs to the goodie side

5. The not-so-fully grown dragon on the right is ha-ha based loosely upon Puff Little Dragon. My intentionally for this dragon is to draw a slacker dragon (hence the way he sits). But it turned out differently. Overall he is the youngest of all the dragons.
The pose is drawn without reference. I had to look how a cute dragon for kids looked like. One thing came in my mind was Puff the Dragon (or is it Puff little Dragon????????).
Drew on Nov 23rd. This one I started BEFORE Skeleton Dragon and the Dragon that is holding the human with his claw/hand. Didn't have the courage to finish it until couple of days later.
He is the good dragon.

6. Notice the dragon in the background? There is one that is on the right upper corner... It is this dragon: [link]

It just happened. I didn't really going to let it be the same dragon from "Dragon's Den" (my other dragon drawing).
I did this on Nov 20th. So the "Dragon's Den" came first.

7. The other dragons in the background is random... I thought the background looked so empty so I spiced it up a bit. Then it wouldn't look deserted!! The date is unknown (mainly reason is because I forgotten to date it. :icongwahplz:!!!!!!!!!!)
Good, bad or neutral?? = Unknown. Maybe both sides

8. The Eastern Dragon! He is one heck of the easiest to draw of them all!!!! It only took me 10-15 min. Yay! But I admit, I had to use reference because there're many types of Eastern Dragon. The one that I have drawn here is the Chinese type. You know, like Dragon Ball.
Started on Nov 28th. Finished the sketch like I said 10-15 min. Easy wesy.
PS. His right foot looks weird. I know.
He's one of the good guy by the way.

9. Lastly. This dragon only has half of the body because there wasn't enough space! D8< And I even left the date out as well! This is such a disgraceful! Nothing special to mention.
I should treat it with more respect.
Belongs to the neutral.

10. One dragon only the tail is visible. Told you I didn't have enough space!

Phew!! I almost died to typing these lists. Did you die from reading my silly willy English??

Medium used: Daley-Rowney snitchbook, Derwent graphite pencils, Derwent watercolor pencils (sepia color, brown and more brown/dirt color), acrylic color (the white). And sexed it up on Photoshop. Always a trustworthy.

Overall 11 dragons were drawn. Time spent = a week + 3-4 days. I didn't have enough spare time nor concentration. :iconlll-plz:

Title and name = is fictionally made up. I borrow the name "Saint" from Central Saint Martins art college and "MacKenzie" from Sir George MacKenzie (the evil ghost of Edinburgh cementery - look that up if you want). While the "Park" is just a random. Notice the year? 2880 AD!!!! In the future, the dragon will rise from the hideout!

The reason I made the drawing looks like aged paper, is because I wanted to make it look like a "vintage" drawing.

The inspiration for the photo came from this [link]

Hope ye guys digg this.

I really like the variety of dragons that you put in this piece, the color makes it look like an ancient scroll which is really cool, and I really like how the dragons are living with the humans, really great work.
